Grounds Electroblob's Wizardry: Redux, making spellcasting restricted, and more hard. You need to defeat Wizards or trade with them for a letter which allows you to start using magic.
This add-on grounds Electroblob's Wizardry with few things:
1) Now to start casting spells or to bind them - you must first open yourself to Magic through Magic Letter. You can get one by defeating Evil Wizards (20% chance) or Wizards (10% chance), or by trading with one for 9 Diamonds (usual diamonds). - This restriction does not goes onto scrolls. So those are more useful. (In config you can enable feature to bind spells to scrolls without knowledge about magic).
2) To use specific tier of spells - you need to discover at least three of spells of lower tier. As example - to cast Advanced tier magic you must first discover at least three Apprentice level spells.
This mod can be combined with Spell Forge add-on for EBWiz: Redux to create spellbooks.
