Description
GroundCheck is a simple client-side mod that warns you when you're about to break the block you're standing on - preventing accidental falls.
In vanilla Minecraft, your hitbox is 0.6 blocks wide, while a full block is 1*1. If you stand exactly in the centre of a block and break it, you'll have nothing to stand on - you fall, even while sneaking.
The mod highlights dangerous blocks with a red outline when you look at them. It also detects if you're standing on two blocks at once - breaking one while the other remains will not trigger the warning.
What it does:
Checks if you'll have solid ground under you after breaking the targeted block.
Highlights unsafe blocks with a red outline (colour configurable).
Works only in Survival and Adventure modes (ignores Creative and flight).
Fully client-side - no server traffic.
Features:
No extra mechanics- just a warning.
Configurable outline colour, check distance, and toggle. (groundcheck.json)
Supports world languages (adapts to your game language).
Lightweight and optimised, minimal performance impact.
Compatibility:
Client-side only (no server installation required).
Works with Sodium, Embeddium, and other rendering tweaks.
