# Grim Storage Industries: changes from 1.14.1 to 1.16.6

## Crafting
- Crafting jobs are saved with the world. A restart, crash or server reboot no longer loses them: running jobs carry on, paused jobs stay paused, and items already in machines are still counted. Items waiting for room in storage are saved too. (1.15.0)
- Jobs belong to the player who ordered them. Cancel, pause and move up or down only work for that player, the network owner, or a server operator. (1.15.1)
- The network owner is recognised by their player UUID, so changing your Minecraft name no longer takes away control of your network's jobs. (1.15.2)
- Every ingredient takes its variants, not only one per recipe. A recipe asking for any copper, coal or log uses whichever you have, from any mod, and a big order is split across them when no single one covers it. Exact Recipe Cards still use only their own items. (1.15.0)
- Missing items explain why. The craft preview and the chat message say what is wrong under each one: it's stored with different data (damaged, enchanted, named), another mod's look-alike the recipe doesn't take, it's in a chest linked as "only put in", it's in your own inventory, or nothing on the network makes it. (1.15.0)
- Mekanism recipes that need a chemical (a Basic Control Circuit needs redstone infuse) now work from the items Mekanism turns into that chemical. Stored chemical is used when you have it, and the items otherwise. (1.14.1)

## Terminal
- Press **Y** anywhere to open your wireless terminal. You can change the key under Controls. (1.16.1)
- Press **R** over an item to see its recipes in JEI, EMI or REI. (1.16.2, REI added in 1.16.4)
- Search finds enchanted books by enchantment, so "mending" shows the Mending books. (1.16.1)
- Search forgives small typos: "medning" finds Mending. Short words still need an exact match. (1.16.4)
- Items keep their place while counts change during a craft, so they no longer jump under the cursor and get clicked by mistake. (1.16.1)
- The terminal and guide are translated into Chinese (Simplified), Russian, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish, German and French. (1.16.0)
- Terminal and guide now cover saved jobs, chemical chains and the new settings. (1.16.0, 1.16.4, 1.16.6)

## Networks, performance and size
- Each network keeps its own storage cell list and rebuilds it only when something changes. Busy networks no longer slow others down, and no longer rescan every drive on every tick. (1.16.0)
- The network size limit is a setting, `maxNetworkBlocks` (default 16,384, up to 1,048,576). A network over the limit now shows a red warning on its Network Controller, instead of being cut off silently. (1.15.1)

## Machine Bus and furnaces
- The Machine Bus gives Mekanism machines a spare side for the item slot that feeds the chemical, if nobody has set that side. (1.14.1)
- Furnaces from other mods work. Any furnace runs as a smelting machine, and any blast furnace as a blasting machine. (1.16.1)
- Iron Furnaces have their own entry, covering the Netherite Furnace and the other metal tiers. (1.16.5)
- A furnace whose recipe type can't be read is learned by its block name, instead of being silently skipped. (1.16.3)

## Server settings (`grimstorage-server.toml`)
- Cell capacities for the item cells, and a size list for each fluid, chemical, energy, XP and Source cell. (1.16.0)
- `busSpeedMultiplier` (Import and Export Buses), `wirelessRange` (Wireless Terminal), and `assemblerSpeedMultiplier` (Soul Assemblers). (1.16.0, 1.16.6)
- `maxNetworkBlocks` as above, plus `maxJobsPerNetwork` and `maxJobsPerPlayer`. (1.15.1)

## Debugging and bug reports
- New command `/grimstorage debug`. Look at any block of a network, or carry a linked wireless terminal, and it writes a report to `grimstorage-debug/`: the network's blocks, cells, machines, recipes, running jobs, recent problems and your mod list. Attach it to bug reports. Operators can add a position. (1.15.0)

## Languages
- Chinese (Simplified), Russian, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish, German and French, for the whole mod and the guide book. (1.16.0)
- "Open wireless terminal" is translated in all six languages. (1.16.3)
