Mod Menu as a compact grid: configure button on every tile, favorites, hiding, an F8 privacy lock for streaming, and a remembered switch back to the classic list.
Client-side Fabric extension for Mod Menu. Turns the mods screen into a compact full-width grid where nothing needs hunting for.
Features
- Grid of tiles. Every mod on one screen, as many columns as fit, with the configure button right on each tile.
- Sections. Favorites on top, then mods with settings, then a "No settings" group. Star a mod on hover to favorite it.
- Hide mods. Click the eye on a tile to hide mods you never touch. A header toggle shows them again, dimmed, for unhiding.
- Search matches name, id, author and description. The header counts what you see: "Mods · 24 shown · 3 hidden".
- Streamer privacy. Press F8 in the mods screen and your currently hidden mods become completely invisible and uncounted, while the hide feature keeps working normally on top, so nothing looks off to anyone watching. F8 again brings them back.
- Classic view switch. A button in each screen flips between the grid and Mod Menu's original list (for websites, issues and full descriptions), and your choice is remembered.
- Follows Mod Menu's own settings for sorting, libraries, hidden mods and translated names, so both views always show the same world.
Requirements
Fabric Loader 0.19+, Fabric API, Cloth Config, Mod Menu 18 or newer. Minecraft 26.1 and 26.2. Client-side only; the server needs nothing.
Notes
The F8 privacy lock is a convenience for screen sharing, not a secret: the mod's source is public and the protection depends on the key, not on nobody knowing about it. F3 and crash reports still show the total mod count.
