3rd Version:

Greedy Upgrades is a unique challenge-based Minecraft mod where every upgrade you obtain slowly makes your entire world turn against you. The more powerful you become, the worse your gameplay experience becomes—one upgrade at a time.

As you collect and upgrade tools and armor, your Greedy Meter rises. Alongside it, the World Nature Angry Meter increases as the world grows furious with your greed. When the world becomes too angry, it will punish you relentlessly.

⚠️ Punishments & World Reactions

• Dangerous mobs begin spawning randomly around you—even in places they normally shouldn’t.
• You will start hallucinating a mysterious black figure, Hearing Creepy Sounds 
• Your screen may be hit with Slowness, Nausea, Darkness, and other negative potion effects.
• Iron and Diamond upgrades require you to pay tax using any ingot.
• Ignore the tax, and the world will take your health as payment instead.

⚔️ But It’s Not All Bad…

To keep things (slightly) fair, every upgrade also grants minor beneficial effects such as:

• Resistance
• Strength
• Regeneration
• Other small buffs that help you survive—though none reach their maximum levels.

👾 New Mobs

This mod introduces 5 new hostile entities tied to greed and corruption:

• Merge – A fused skeleton–zombie hybrid.
• Glitch Entity – A hallucinated, non-existent figure that appears when your greed grows.
• Greedy Zombie – Stronger, greed-infected zombies.
• Greedy Creeper – A more powerful and unpredictable creeper variant.
• Greedy Mega - The Most Greedy Mob

📊 New HUD Bars

A new dual-meter HUD appears above your health and hunger:

• World Angry Level – Shows how furious the world is becoming.
• Player Greedy Level – Tracks how deep you are falling into greed.

🛠️ New Tools

The mod also introduces three new tools:

• Greedy Dimension Portal Igniter – Used to activate the portal to the Greedy Dimension.
• TNT Shooter – A ranged weapon dropped by Greedy Creepers that fires explosive TNT.
• Heavy Stick – A slow but extremely powerful melee weapon dropped by Greedy Zombies.
  • Added Netherite Upgrades (A Bit Different In Use Then Vanilla Minecraft. Read Last Para)
  • Added A More Dangerous Level Of Greediness. It Is Achieved By Getting Netherite Upgrades.

   1. Netherite Upgrades (How To Use):     

  Netherite Ore - Can Be Found In The Nether. By Breaking It You Will Directly Get Netherite Ingot

  Netherite Ingot - It Can Be Used To Craft Tools And Armor Just Like Iron, Diamond And Gold In Crafting Table.

  Netherite Tools - Armor, Sword, Pickaxe, Axe, Hoe, Shovel

   

  2. Final Stage Of Greediness:

  The Final Stage Of Greediness Can Be Achieved When You Get Netherite Upgrades Will Make Your Minecraft World The Most Angry And It Will Give You Permanent Nausea Effect. And Make Your World More Dangerous. (You Will Hallucinate An Entity That Does Not Even Exist, You Will Hear Creepy Noises, You Will Get Nausea)
