Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
0.0.5 — 応答 Outou, "Response"
He listens now.
Until this version Great Sage only ever spoke at you. Now you can speak back — offline, on your own machine, with nothing sent anywhere.
Voice commands
- 211 requests understood. Your existence value, your magicules, your strongest skill, what a creature can do, how deep you are, whether you should fight — and orders: toggle a skill, cast one, store an item, retrieve it, equip your best armour, heal, raise your barriers.
- Two ways to talk. Wake mode listens for "Great Sage", "Wise One" or "Sage". Push-to-talk opens the mic only while you hold the key.
- Offline recognition. Runs entirely on your PC. No account, no server, no audio leaves your machine.
- Say it your way. The matcher tolerates rephrasing, stumbles and the odd wrong word — you do not have to recite an exact formula.
- Automatic setup. The recognition library and the English model are fetched for you on first launch, with a progress bar. About 65 MB, once, and only if you turn voice input on — leave it off and nothing is downloaded, ever. You can still install the files by hand if you prefer.
- Typed too.
/sage <your request>runs the same 211 requests without a microphone.
English recognition only for now. Other languages are on the roadmap.
Battle Mode
- A new Battle Mode page in the menu. Link the skills you want held.
- Toggled skills are kept up; triggered skills are re-cast once their cooldown ends.
- A skill that never goes on cooldown is suspended instead of looped, and Great Sage tells you which one.
Settings, in game
- A new Settings page. Around twenty entries — voice mode, wake words, volume, recognition confidence, announcement tiers, blacklist — all editable without leaving the game.
Search and filters
- Filter your skills and your observations: by category, by source mod, by mastered or not, sorted by acquisition cost.
Fixes
- Resistances can no longer be analysed — they were a free path to mastery. They stay visible in the constellation, including the ones you really earned.
- Temporary skills can no longer be analysed. Skills granted with a timer, such as Creator's, no longer become permanently mastered. Checked again when the analysis ends, not only when it starts.
- Mastery through analysis now unlocks what follows it, exactly as mastery earned by playing does.
- Only acquired skills are announced, not the ones that merely became available.
- Spontaneous remarks now require the Great Sage skill. Announcements and ceremonies still work without it, as before.
- The
needGreatSagegamerule actually governs now. It gates announcements on carrying the skill. - Announcements can be interrupted. No more waiting out a hundred skills granted at once.
- The magicule cost shown in Records is the real one, not a class default.
- Observations are stored inside your save. Two worlds no longer share what you have scanned.
- Named individuals keep their own entry instead of being flattened into their species average.
- Pronunciations redone — Gluttony and the other sins now use their katakana names, plus the Dragon Factor skills.
- The compact bubble writes the whole sentence at the end of an analysis, instead of only the skill name.
- Remarks no longer talk over you while you are using voice mode.
- The evolution scene no longer plays on
/tensura reset. - The menu key tells you when another mod has taken it.
- The water remark no longer loops while you are underwater.
Thank you to everyone who reported something instead of uninstalling. Most of the list above exists because somebody took the time to describe what went wrong.
