Grassier Grass 26.3 Compatibility

An unofficial, client-side compatibility addon that lets the original Grassier Grass 1.4.5 Fabric build for Minecraft 26.2 run on Minecraft 26.3.

The original Grassier Grass by leonardoinc22 is required and must be downloaded separately. This project is not affiliated with or endorsed by its author.

Requirements

• Minecraft 26.3 with Fabric Loader 0.19.5 or newer and Java 25.
• Original file: grassiergrass-fabric-1.4.5+mc26.2.jar, plus its dependencies.
• This compatibility addon in the same client mods folder.

Only the exact original Fabric 1.4.5 build is supported. Other Grassier Grass releases and NeoForge builds are not supported. Install on clients only.

What it does

Adapts rendering API calls and shader interfaces in memory when the game loads. The original mod JAR stays unchanged. This addon does not bundle the original mod's implementation classes or assets.

Beta status

Tested in Minecraft 26.3 with grass rendering both without shaders and with Complementary Reimagined r5.9.3 through Iris, including saving and reopening a test world. Other hardware, shader packs, and mod combinations have not been exhaustively tested.

Please report issues with this unofficial compatibility addon here, rather than treating them as bugs in the original mod.

License and credit

The original Grassier Grass belongs to leonardoinc22 and retains its own license. MIT applies only to this independent compatibility addon.
