Graph Assembly expands Create’s assembly recipes from fixed sequences into connected graphs of processing steps—with branches, loops, and workpiece merging.
Each workpiece carries its own progress. Choose a route, repeat an operation, or combine independently processed workpieces. Recorded checkpoints and accumulated marks determine the final result, allowing one graph to produce different items through different paths, with separate failure-output pools.
Features
- Flexible processing routes: Player-directed or weighted random branches, loops, and operations that redirect the next step.
- Multi-workpiece merging: Validate primary and auxiliary workpieces separately. The result continues with the primary workpiece’s progress.
- Path-dependent outputs: Set conditions using ordered checkpoints, checkpoint visit counts, and mark-value ranges. Give different exits their own outputs and failure pools.
- Progress editing: Clear or reduce marks, remove checkpoints, or send a workpiece back through an earlier operation.
- Graph Assembly Filter: Match workpieces by their available processing steps to automate routing.
- Interactive JEI previews: Explore processing steps, ingredients, connections, and output conditions in planar or spherical views.
- Data pack and KubeJS support: Write graph recipes directly, embed upstream KubeJS recipe objects, or reference existing native recipes.
Supported processing
Use Create’s pressing, cutting, deploying, filling, milling, mixing, and compacting operations alongside supported vanilla crafting and processing:
- Inventory crafting, crafting tables, and the Crafter—including dyeing and repair.
- Furnaces, smokers, blast furnaces, campfires, and soul campfires.
- Stonecutters, smithing upgrades and trims, and anvil operations.
- Brewing stands, with progress carried by individual bottles or transferred from a shared ingredient.
Compatible vanilla recipe steps can also run through Create’s corresponding automation, including Basin mixing and compacting, Mechanical Saws, Mechanical Crafters, and fan-assisted smoking and smelting.
Addon recipes using supported native processing types follow the same rules. Custom addon machines may require their own execution support.
