Description
This mod adds a Paradox-style Grand Strategy system to Minecraft where you can make your own country. I have always told people how Minecraft and Hearts of Iron were actually the same game and they always told me it was not,and in single player, they were kind of rightm so thats why I have made this mod work in single player, you can:
-Start a country
-Compete with well known historic countries such as Uruk, Ur, Indus Valley, China, Clio's Office (lead by my Oshi ClioAite who has thousands of Europa Universiales Experience), and more in the future.
-Lead villagers who each have their own jobs and can automatically upgrade their tools
-Declare war on those other countries
-Expand your own country (by colonisation of empty land or by conquest or by causing other countries providences to revolt and join you or by focus tree)
-Go through a focus tree while all the other countries go along historical focus trees and are naturally places alongside other countriesthat they were historically near (such as different Mesopatamian city states will spawn next to eachother much more likely than Uruk spawning next to a Mayan City State or something like that)
-5 In Game Days delay before any of the AI civilisations come into existance, the game starts at around 4000 BCE and it starts out where 1 in game day is 100 years of grand strategy time but once you get to 2026 is 1 in game day is 1 grand strategy day.
-Finally make use of your tech setups from other mods which leave you with a large amount of resources you likely dont have much use for, here you can use it to give to your subjects who will be able to use it for things like building pickaxes and shovels and swords, finally having the most efficient factories and tehc setups makes a difference.
Right Now We Are in Early Access! We originally made this for the Curseforge ModJam 2026. The pathfinding is a bit finicy and also reliant on high single core performance. We are working on making the path finding more efficient and less prone to the villagers getting stuck or causing lag. We also do not have much tech trees or units or histroy quite yet as right now we are mostly focusing on the engine. Right now the units look like husks but we will make textures once we improve the path finding and make the engine like we want.
To start go to Inventory and press the GS Button. It is suggested you already have a lot of wood and cobblestone and bread before you make your country as the workers thrive on those items and they are needed for them to have good tools and population.
