Performance
With GPUcraft enabled, FPS can reach up to 500 FPS depending on your hardware, GPU, render distance, shaders, resource packs, and modpack.
Actual performance may vary.
Mod Settings
To configure GPUcraft, install Mod Menu.
GPUcraft has a simple settings menu with two options:
- GPU Selection
- Max FPS
GPU Selection
Click the button and select your graphics card from the list.
Example:
- NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060
- AMD Radeon RX 6600
- Intel UHD Graphics
This option helps Minecraft use the selected GPU for rendering.
Max FPS
Set the maximum FPS limit for Minecraft.
Default value:
- Unlimited
You can keep it unlimited for maximum performance or set a custom FPS limit for smoother gameplay and lower GPU usage.
Recommended
- Fabric API
- Mod Menu
Note
GPUcraft does not move the whole Minecraft engine to the GPU. It only optimizes the rendering pipeline.
