Allows players to back up and transfer their Minecraft worlds between different devices using their own Google Drive account.
This mod is optional to use and only works after the player manually connects their Google account through the official Google OAuth login flow in the system web browser. The mod never asks for, sees, stores, or handles the user's Google password.
No external server is used. Authentication tokens are stored locally on the player's device and are used only to upload, download, and manage the world backup files created by this mod.
This mod does not download mod files, executable code, updates, libraries, or dependencies from Google Drive. Google Drive is used only for user-created Minecraft world backup/sync data.
The mod does not provide a way to download or execute code from Google Drive. It only saves and restores Minecraft world data chosen or configured by the user.
How it works:
- The player signs in through Google's official OAuth page in their system browser.
- The player configures or selects the Google Drive location used for world backups.
- When the player exits a world, the mod uploads a backup/sync copy to Google Drive.
- The upload progress can be viewed in the in-game Google Drive menu.
- Please wait for the upload to finish before fully closing the game.
Privacy and data access:
- The mod does not use a developer-owned backend server.
- The mod does not send files or tokens to the mod author.
- The mod only uses Google Drive access for the documented world backup/sync feature.
- Access can be revoked at any time from the player's Google Account security settings.
Google Drive permission is limited to files and folders created or selected for use by this mod. The mod does not request full access to the user's entire Google Drive unless technically required by a future feature, in which case this will be clearly documented.
