Ever wanted absorption hearts to behave like vanilla—but without creating an extra row that pushes your HUD around?
Golden Heart Overlay redraws absorption hearts directly over your normal health bar while preserving the look and feel of Minecraft's vanilla animations.
It was created only for my friends and me. But if you wish to use it for yourself and your modpacks. So be it.
ChatGPT was used as a development assistant to help:
- prototype the implementation,
- iterate on rendering behavior,
- debug compatibility issues,
- and refine the mod to match Minecraft's vanilla animations.
The final mod was tested, refined, and approved by the author before release.
