## 📖 About
A lightweight Fabric mod that adds golden variants of all vanilla meats, each with unique built-in potion effects. Use the ‌**Food Workbench**‌ to upgrade or enchant your golden foods for stronger and longer buffs, or smelt them back into gold nuggets to recover resources. Also adds Coke as an efficient fuel source.

### 🍗 Golden Foods
- Adds ‌**16 golden food variants**‌ covering all vanilla meats (raw & cooked):
- Beef / Cooked Beef
- Porkchop / Cooked Porkchop
- Mutton / Cooked Mutton
- Chicken / Cooked Chicken
- Rabbit / Cooked Rabbit
- Cod / Cooked Cod
- Salmon / Cooked Salmon
- Tropical Fish
- ‌**Three tiers**‌:
- Standard: Crafted with gold nuggets + raw meat in a regular crafting table
- Strong: Upgraded in Food Workbench with more gold, grants double hunger restoration and longer buffs
- Enchanted: Crafted in Food Workbench with gold ingots + enchanted books, grants amplified effects
- All golden foods are always edible, even with full hunger, just like golden apples
- Unique buffs per food type: Regeneration + Resistance for all, plus Slow Falling for chicken, Water Breathing for fish, and more

- New utility block to upgrade and enchant golden foods
- 4-slot interface: Book slot → Food slot → Gold slot → Result slot
- Crafting progress bar that fills as your food is processed
- Works both in singleplayer and on servers
### 🔥 Coke & Coke Block
- Coke: Efficient fuel with 800 ticks burn time (4x longer than coal)
- Coke Block: Compact fuel storage with 10000 ticks burn time, same compression ratio as coal blocks
- Smelt golden foods in a furnace to recover gold nuggets

## 📦 Installation
1. Install ‌**Fabric Loader**‌ (≥ 0.19.0) for Minecraft 1.26.1 / 1.26.2 / 1.26.3
2. Install the latest ‌**Fabric API**‌
3. Drop `golden_foods-1.7.0.jar` into your mods folder
4. Launch the game!
Requires ‌**Java 25 or higher**‌. Works on both client and server; no additional dependencies required beyond Fabric API.

## 🎮 How to Use
### Basic Golden Foods
Surround a raw or cooked meat with 8 gold nuggets in a crafting table to make standard golden food.
### Strong Golden Foods
1. Place a Food Workbench and open it
2. Put a standard golden food in the center food slot
3. Fill the gold slot with gold ingots
4. Wait for the progress arrow to fill, then collect your strong golden food
### Enchanted Golden Foods
1. Place an enchanted book in the left book slot of the Food Workbench
2. Put standard golden food in the center food slot
3. Fill the gold slot with gold ingots
4. Wait for crafting to complete to get enchanted golden food with amplified effects
### Fuel & Recycling
- Use Coke or Coke Blocks in furnaces as high-efficiency fuel
- Smelt any golden food in a furnace to get gold nuggets back
