Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
0.512-4 Beta (least amount of updates yet)
A small update: the reactor now needs real calculations to run, the controller uses Create's own value box, and a few items moved to where Minecraft keeps them.
Physics: calculate, don't read
- The control desk shows only what an operator can really measure: power, period, startup rate (SUR), temperatures and levels.
- Reactivity, k and the critical rod position are no longer shown anywhere. You have to work them out.
- The k bar on the desk is now a SUR bar (decades per minute).
Physics Desk: new "Calculate" page
The blackboard now has two tabs, Measure and Calculate. Type a value and read the result:
- Rod position gives reactivity (pcm and $), k, period and SUR. It warns when the result is prompt critical or would trip the reactor.
- Hours after a trip gives xenon worth, whether a restart is possible or you are in xenon dead time, and the decay heat.
- Power gives steam, feedwater and how many turbines you need.
- Short period limit: the most reactivity you can add before the protection trips, from the inverse inhour equation.
Safety
- Short period trip: if the period drops under 10 s (about 2.6 dpm), the reactor scrams. Config:
periodTrip. - The Start button no longer jumps the rods to 60 %.
Reactor Controller
- The rods are set with Create's value box on the front face: scroll it, or hold right click to open the panel (0-100 %).
- It shows the same value as the desk slider and follows SCRAM.
- Right click no longer moves the rods by 25 %; it only rescans the structure.
Items and creative tabs
- Steam Bucket can be filled with a Spout and emptied with an Item Drain. Every item can now be crafted or found.
- Banner patterns and the Fallout armor trim template moved to the vanilla Ingredients tab.
- Paintings are in the vanilla Functional Blocks tab, next to the other paintings.
