Description

Build With Cleanroom

This mod is NOT an add-on for the GregTech series!

This mod is an add-on for Modular Machinery: Community Edition. It adds two types of hatches to modular machines: the Maintenance Hatch and the Muffler Hatch. Since both are inspired by GregTech items of the same names, the mod is called “G”odular "T"achinery.

Maintenance Hatch:
You can enable it in a machine JSON with "maintenance": true.
When a machine finishes a recipe, there is a chance that one or more maintenance slots will become “needs maintenance.” This chance gradually increases as the machine keeps running.
Once any maintenance slot enters the “needs maintenance” state, the machine stops immediately.
To repair it, a player must carry the required repair item and right-click the Maintenance Hatch.

Auto Maintenance Hatch:
An upgraded version of the Maintenance Hatch that performs maintenance automatically.

Muffler Hatch:
Comes in four tiers: Small, Medium, Large, and Huge.
You can enable it in a machine JSON with "muffler": true.
While the machine is running, it continuously emits black smoke from the front face, and when a recipe ends, it has a chance to generate a configured byproduct (configurable in the config file).
If the block in front of the Muffler Hatch is not air, the machine stops running.
You can also change config settings so that the machine stops when the Muffler Hatch inventory is full.
The Muffler Hatch rejects almost all GUI interaction except direct player operation, so most automated byproduct extraction setups will not work.

ME Muffler Hatch:
The highest-tier Muffler Hatch.
It removes the “front must be air” obstruction requirement and can connect to an ME network.
When connected, byproducts are automatically pushed into the bound ME network.

Maintenance Hatch tools are highly configurable:
You can edit the config file to set how many maintenance slots exist and which tool is required for each slot.

You can use TOPCE to view the required maintenance items for a Maintenance Hatch.
