Trolls spawn in caves bellow sea level at the same rate as endermen, thus encounters are rare.
As a primitive reletive of villagers, trolls can engage in a simple form of trade. That being, erm, you stealing their treasure...
Trolls have a variety of loot, from bones to gold to diamonds, and even better. But you have to be quick!
