GOBLINS & DUNGEONS VERSION 1.0.0 CHANGELOG:
- Goblins are a race of small, colorful, mischevious warriors who spawn in the structures of the mod, or after a long play time spawn in wandering patrols.
- Added the Gob, a small infantry Goblin who deals melee damage with a stone sword. They drop iron nuggets and variably damaged stone swords.
- Added the Garch, an archer Goblin who wields a bow, firing from a distance. They drop iron nuggets, arrows, and variably damaged bows.
- Added the Goblo, a fat Goblin who grabs and eats items from the ground. Luckily the items can be salvaged by killing them, while also dropping leather.
- Added the Hobgob, a large Goblin which attacks livestock and wild animals. They can also throw smaller goblins far through the air. They drop leather, iron nuggets, and emeralds.
- Added the Goom, a small Goblin with a smoke-bomb attached to their head. Instead of attacking directly, they cover the area around them in smoke particles. They drop gunpowder and leather.
- Added four Rings, which can be right clicked to be applied to your off-hand and give special effects. Currently includes:
• Ring of Health, which adds two health points (one heart) to the player's health bar.
• Ring of Stealth, which reduces the detection range of hostile mobs.
• Ring of Experience, which increases the amount of experience dropped from mobs.
• Ring of Glory, which heals the player in proportionate to the health of mobs the player kills.
• • These rings can for the most part only be obtained by looting the Ruined Keep.
- Added Scoria, a dark volcanic rock which can be found in veins underground, or in bricks which form the mod's structures. Variants include: Scoria (slab, stair, wall), Bricks (slab, stair, wall), Cracked Bricks, Polished (slab, stair, wall), and Chiseled Scoria.
• Scoria includes compat with the Quark mod, including Chiseled Bricks, Pillars, Pavement, and vertical slabs.
- Added the Urn, a pot block which when generated naturally drops on item when broken, these being rotten flesh, string, bread, bones, iron nuggets, or emeralds.
• However, water, lava, potions, and tnt can all be placed in an open urn, all of which will activate when the urn is broken.
- Added the Goblin Camp, a structure which contains a number of goblins seated around a campfire, nestled within the remnants of a Scoria building. It always contains loot chests with items such as rotten flesh and bones, bread, arrows, iron and gold, and beetroot. These come in small, medium, and large variants, with the number of goblins and amount of loot increasing with the size of the camp.
- Added the Ruined Keep, a decrepit Scoria castle with high walls and towers, a wooden gate and courtyard, a hall, staircases, a throne at the top, and many rooms filled with loot and goblins
- Added the Ogre, a grumpy giant humanoid with tusks, bulbous nose, and large fists. They move slowly but deal high amounts of damage. When their foe moves too far away, they roar, inflicting Weakness. They spawn both ambiently throughout the world, and in the Ruined Keep. They drop Ogre Tusks when killed
. • Added the Ogre's Might effect, which gives attack strength at the cost of attack speed. It is brewed using an Ogre Tusk.
- Added the Mimic, a Goblin which looks like a chest until right clicked. They drop chests, iron and gold ingots, emeralds, and the Ring of Stealth. They spawn exclusively in the Ruined Keep.
- Added the Gobber, a small Goblin in a suit of armor, which wields crossbows and iron swords. They drop variably damaged crossbows and iron swords. They also spawn exclusively in the Ruined Keep.
- Added the Goblin King, the hostile boss found atop the Ruined Keep. He fires Soul Bullets (which inflict Slowness), summons other goblins to fight for him, and teleports at half health. He only spawns on top of the throne in the Ruined Keep. Upon death he drops the Goblin Crown.
• This crown gives two armor points (one armor) in the helmet slot, and inflicts Weakness II to nearby Goblins and Ogres and Weakness I to other hostiles. It also reduces detection range by Goblins and Ogres.
- Added a Goblins and Dungeons advancement tree.
- Added a secret nametag skin to the Ogre
