10v10's first-ever horror mod: The Gloom.

The Gloom is a creature based on Glu's old Minecraft skin. It is a tall dark humanoid with tentacles and custom animations.

The Gloom will very rarely spawn in your Minecraft world, in pretty much any environment where normal hostile mobs spawn. Usually, you will probably need to explore for hours before finding one.

At first, the creature will do nothing but stare at the player, and make strange scary noises. However, this is only a false sense of security. You should get out of the area as soon as possible because at any time, it can turn hostile and start chasing the player. In this state, it has many abilities, distinguishing it from a simple hostile entity. It can break blocks, swim very quickly, prevent players from towering up by summoning tentacles that will deal very high damage, and sometimes randomly disappear, only to re-appear later and jumpscare the player. These abilities can create a very scary and stressful experience for the player if they want to survive. 

This mod is made specifically for members of the PvP Legacy 10v10 community. Outsiders can download it, but they will probably not understand the lore and general details of the creature.
