Glasscraft
Glasscraft adds a way to handle glass without losing it. Its main item is the Glasscutter, a tool made to break glass blocks and glass panes while keeping them intact, and it comes together with connected textures for glass that stay light and can be configured block by block.
Glasscutter
The Glasscutter breaks glass blocks, glass panes and similar materials such as glowstone and prismarine, and the block drops as itself instead of being destroyed.
- When its durability runs out it does not break. It becomes unusable until it is repaired, so the tool is never lost.
- It is repaired at the smithing table using iron.
Connected textures
Glasscraft includes continuity for glass blocks and glass panes, similar to what OptiFine offers, so adjacent blocks join into one continuous surface instead of showing a border on each block.
The system is built to be as specific and lightweight as possible, applying only to the blocks that need it.
Configuration
Continuity can be disabled by block type or by mod through the config file. Mod Menu is supported, which makes it possible to change these options from the in-game config screen without editing files.
