Salvage is a small mod that is centered around a new item, Metal Scrap, which has a few different uses. With the help of Metal Scrap, you can now create new building blocks and a new utility tool :D

Features
Metal Scrap:
Metal Scrap can be found around the world in structures, such as Abandoned Mineshafts, Dungeons, and in the Nether, Bastions and Fortresses.
You can also obtain them occasionally from zombies and obtain a good amount of them from Bartering.
Metal Scrap can be smelted into 4 Iron Ingots or 4 Metal Scrap can be turned into a Block of Metal Scrap.
Plated Netherite:
By combining a Gold Ingot, Netherite Scrap, and a piece of Metal Scrap to act as a substitute, you can craft Netherite Plates.
These Netherite Plates can then be combined with Copper Blocks (which aren't oxidized) to create a Plated Blocks of Netherite.
Similar to Plated Jewlery, Plated Netherite is mostly made up of the Copper Block but has a layer of Netherite on top, giving it a look similar to a pure Block of Netherite. It also keeps it's block properties of being immune to explosions and being able to be pushed by pistons :3 (Be aware that it's not fire resistant tho..)
Also can be crafted into Cut Plated Netherite which has stair and slab variants!

Handheld Drill:
The Handheld Drill is obtained from crafting the mod's items with the Drill Mechanism.
The Drill Mechanism is found inside of Bastions and can be bartered for.
By holding it in the Offhand along with a tool, the player will gain increased mining speed. You'll be able to mine tougher blocks like deepslate instantly with Efficiency and Haste 2.
