Gilded Gambit
Gilded Gambit adds a risk-and-reward economy to Minecraft. Coins can only be found in the loot chests of vanilla structures. You can spend them on rare goods, or gamble them first and hope to come out richer.
Coins
- Coins spawn only in structure chests: dungeons, mineshafts, shipwrecks, desert temples, woodland mansions, ancient cities, Nether fortresses, bastions and End cities.
- Harder and more dangerous structures give bigger stacks. Mobs and other chests never drop coins.
- Right-click coins to bank them. Your balance is saved with your world and survives death and relogging.
Roulette Table
- Craft a Roulette Table and right-click it to open the wheel. It uses a European 0–36 layout and has animated spins.
- Pick one of six bets: Red, Black, Odd, Even, 1–18 or 19–36.
- Win and you get double your stake back (bet 100, get 200). Lose, or land on the green zero, and the stake is gone.
- Spins are decided on the server, so the odds can’t be cheated.
The Gambler
- The Gambler is a black-suited villager in gold glasses who sells rare goods for coins. He can’t be killed and never despawns.
- Find him in villages, use a spawn egg, or place a Roulette Table next to any villager to give them the job.
- Shop categories:
- Minerals: iron, gold, diamonds, ancient debris
- Nether: Netherite ingots, Nether stars
- Rare Goods: Totems of Undying, enchanted golden apples, Elytra
Configurable
Coin chances and amounts per structure, minimum and maximum bets, and the whole shop list with prices are all in the config file.
All coins are virtual and exist only inside the game. There is no real-money gambling of any kind.
