what is this?

FRAGRANCE OVERLOAD is a Cleanroom mod that adds fragrances, miscellaneous drinks, music, and various other completely necessary additions to Minecraft.

The main idea is simple: make weirdly specific things that I find funny or interesting into Minecraft items.

Some of these items are intentionally overpowered. Almost everything important can be configured, though, so if you don't want to become an unstoppable fragrance-powered entity, you can tone things down.

who is this for?

• People who want unbalanced OP effects sometimes, but also want the ability to configure almost everything to be weaker or stronger.
• Jeremy Fragrance fans. Whether your collection is worth $10,000 or you have a $100 collection of dupes, you're welcome here.
• People who want to learn German through the extremely scientific method of putting German-related memes into Minecraft.
• People who like TikTok edit music and want to fight bosses while wearing ridiculously overpowered armor with some absolutely unnecessary music playing in the background.
• People who want to experience a carefully selected collection of 2023–2025 meme sounds, TikTok effects, edit music, and deep Agarthian niches for reasons that will probably not make sense to anyone else.

fragrances

Yes, there are actual fragrances.

The mod takes inspiration from the world of cologne and fragrance culture, including the extremely serious world of fragrance enthusiasts, collection flexing, clones, dupes, and of course Jeremy Fragrance.

Some fragrances provide effects, because apparently smelling good wasn't enough and now we need supernatural abilities.

drinks & other stuff

FRAGRANCE OVERLOAD isn't exclusively about perfume. There are also miscellaneous drinks and other random items which exist because I thought they would be funny or useful.

Expect the item list to make progressively less sense the longer you look at it.

music

This mod also doubles as a small time capsule for music and sounds I've collected over the last weeks (I had to watch more than 200 Jeremy Fragrance edits only for his sounds).

It contains hand-selected TikTok effects, old 2023–2025 meme sounds, edit music, and some extremely niche Agarthian material.

The Agartha stuff is here largely because I recently listened to an entire Agartha playlist during a 24-hour trip to Rome. That's roughly 48 hours of straight edit music when you count the trip there and back, so naturally some of it had to end up in a Minecraft mod.

configuration

A major part of the mod is that you can configure the ridiculousness.

If an effect is too strong, make it weaker. If something isn't nearly stupid enough, make it stronger. The goal is to let you decide how far you want to take the mod rather than forcing everything to be permanently overpowered.

This is a Cleanroom mod and is intended for modern Cleanroom setups.

why?

Because I wanted fragrances, ridiculous effects, German stuff, edit music, meme sounds, and increasingly obscure internet references in Minecraft.

There isn't really a deeper reason.

It's basically a collection of things I thought were funny, interesting, nostalgic, or stupid enough to deserve being preserved in a Minecraft mod.
