🌿 Gentle Seasons

Make your Minecraft world a little cozier with longer days, shorter nights, and crops that can grow faster in the rain.

Features:

• Longer Days — Daytime lasts twice as long by default.
• Shorter Nights — Nights pass twice as fast by default, so you can get back to building, farming, and exploring.
• Rain-Assisted Crop Growth — Crops exposed to natural rain have a 50% chance to gain an extra growth stage when they grow.
• Configurable Settings — Adjust day length, night length, and the rain growth bonus to suit your world.

Configuration

After launching the game with the mod installed, edit config/gentleseasons-common.toml to change the settings.

• dayLengthMultiplier = 2.0 — Default daytime length.
• nightLengthMultiplier = 0.5 — Default night duration.
• rainGrowthBonusChance = 0.5 — 50% chance of an extra growth stage.

Requirements

• Minecraft 1.20.1
• Minecraft Forge 47.x
• java 17

Currently, Forge 1.20.1 is the implemented version. Other versions and loaders are not supported yet.
