Genesis Layers is a dimension mod that adds a brand-new standalone world, designed to provide both players and modpack creators with a fresh, expandable, and highly customizable experience.
The mod supports custom portal frame blocks and activation items, allowing you to fully define how the portal is built and activated. You can also choose whether the activation item should be consumed, and even set players to spawn directly inside this dimension. This makes the mod well suited for unique starting scenarios, survival challenges, or as a core part of a custom modpack progression.
When it comes to world generation, Genesis Layers offers a strong level of flexibility. You can configure the dimension as a void world, control whether bedrock generates, and customize surface layer structure as well as ore generation rules. This makes it easy to create a world that fits your design, whether you want a barren sky realm, a resource dimension, or a themed exploration area.
In addition, the mod includes an optional volcanic ash particle effect to enhance the atmosphere while still keeping performance in mind. It works well for survival gameplay, adventure content, and modpack integration alike.
