Generic Dead Coral Restored brings back the original Generic Dead Coral block from the early Minecraft Java Edition 1.13 snapshots!

Before Minecraft introduced the five separate dead coral varieties, there was a single generic dead coral block. This mod restores that forgotten piece of Minecraft history, allowing you to craft and use it in your worlds once again.

Features

• Restores the original Generic Dead Coral block.

• Brings back a removed Minecraft Java Edition feature.

Crafting Recipes

Minecraft 1.14.4 and 1.16.5:

• 1 Diorite → 1 Generic Dead Coral

Minecraft 1.18.2 and newer:

• 1 Calcite → 1 Generic Dead Coral

The older versions have their own recipe because calcite did not exist before Minecraft 1.17.

Both recipes are shapeless.

Why I Made This

I wanted to bring back one of Minecraft's forgotten blocks without changing the rest of the game. Instead of adding it to world generation, I made it craftable so players can obtain it in survival mode.
