Important Notes

This project requires OpenTerrainGenerator

Please Download OTG from the website: openterraingenerator.org

OTG development happens quickly and Gehenna takes advantage of bleeding-edge features, so stay up to date.

While builds downloaded from the Gehenna CurseForge often does not provide builds that support earlier Gehenna versions, you can join the Gehenna discord and get long-term support for the builds you download.

Yes, OTG is available for 1.18.2 and 1.19.X. Download it from the website openterraingenerator.orgONLY PAPER IS SUPPORTED.

About Gehenna

Are you bored with Minecraft 1.16's nether changes already? Well Gehenna is for you. Gehenna comes with numerous new biomes, and the nether's shape has been altered to look like something out of this world. Gehenna goes all the way up to Y=256, so no more worrying about that short nether world!

Gehenna has been expertly designed to be scary to traverse, but not in a frustrating manner. You will be in awe of how far you can see inside of the nether and how amazing the world and all its features looks.

Gehenna also includes many, many new biomes, and we're adding more pretty much weekly, so keep tuned with new updates on the Discord.

Gehenna actively supports but 1.16.5 and 1.18.X on both Forge and Paper, just make sure you install OpenTerrainGenerator first! Download the version you wish to download on the files page.

If you're on Forge, Gehenna supports other nether biome mods like Oh The Biomes You'll Go and Biomes O' Plenty, meaning you can have your cake and eat it to with regards to other nether mods.

I could go on for hours with these stunningly beautiful screenshots taken by the community, or you could just download the mod and see for yourself!

If you're using Forge, OpenTerrainGenerator supports most, but not all mods that add new biomes to the nether. If you're wondering whether Gehenna works with any mods which may not have been shown as working with Gehenna in the screenshots, don't comment, just try it and see for yourself. If it works it works, if it doesn't, it doesn't. If it doesn't work, it's the fault of the mod authors, NOT the OpenTerrainGenerator devs, and DEFINITELY not Gehenna.

For any other questions, please talk to us on Discord (link at top). I do try and respond to these comments as soon as is convenient, but I don't see them as fast as I would had you reached out to me with Discord.
