Gatherloom is a configurable quality-of-life mod for survival gathering. Break one qualifying block to mine a connected ore vein or fell a qualifying tree. Clear limits, deliberate activation, and server-side checks keep the feature predictable in singleplayer and multiplayer.

- Vein mining: Mines face-connected blocks from the same ore family. Regular and deepslate variants of one ore are treated as a family; different ores remain separate.
- Tree felling: Finds connected logs across faces, edges, and corners, then checks for nearby natural leaves. Its upward-first search handles tall trees when you start at the stump.
- Quiet preview: Thin outlines mark the extra blocks in the chain. There is no count text over the crosshair.
- Modded block targets: Search registered blocks by name or ID. Ore and log families stay grouped; terrain and other blocks can be opted into individually.

- Choose when chains activate: Sneak-to-activate is enabled by default, so ordinary mining stays a normal one-block break unless you hold sneak.
- Set separate caps: Defaults are 12 ore blocks and 128 tree logs per action. Limits are independently adjustable.
- Adjust search range: Default ore range is 8 blocks horizontally and 6 vertically; default tree range is 7 horizontally and 64 vertically.
- Find targets quickly: The Targets page groups Ores, Logs and stems, Soil and sand, Stone, and Other blocks, with search across localized names and registry IDs.
Open settings with G. The panel separates Harvest, Targets, Limits, and Search Range. New terrain and other-block targets start disabled; extra targets are limited to full-cube blocks without block entities and use face-only connections.
- Server authority: The world server searches and breaks the chain. In multiplayer, only the integrated-world owner or a server operator can apply rule changes.
- Normal break behavior: Chained blocks use the regular player block-break path, preserving permission checks, tool suitability, durability, enchantment-aware drops, and block callbacks.
- Bounded behavior: Hard search caps prevent unbounded chains. Creative players, explosions, and
Version and loader: Choose the exact Minecraft version and loader shown on the file. Separate builds cover Minecraft 1.20.1–1.20.6, 1.21.1, 1.21.11, 26.1.2, 26.2, and 26.3, with Fabric, Forge, and NeoForge targets where available. Minecraft 1.20.5 has no Forge release; NeoForge 1.20.3, 1.20.5, and 26.3 targets are beta-specific. Never mix files across loaders or game versions.
