:seedling: Garden Trails v0.1.7 — Plants & Sake Update

Plant Rebalance:

Edible plants have been rebalanced and now each carry a unique effect when consumed:

  • Grape grants a brief burst of Speed
  • Maize grants a brief burst of Strength
  • Mulberry grants a brief moment of Regeneration
  • Rice is now a filling crop with high food value

Bamboo Drying Tray:

The Drying Tray has been expanded into a central step of the transformation chain. Raw crops can now be processed into stronger, longer-lasting ingredients:

  • Maize → Dried Maize (stronger Strength effect)
  • Grape → Dried Grape (stronger Speed effect)
  • Cooked Rice → Fermented Rice (stronger filling effect, with a Slowness tradeoff)
  • Mulberry Juice → Fermented Mulberry Juice (stronger Regeneration effect)

New Crafting Recipes:

New items can be crafted from dried and fermented ingredients:

  • Cooked Rice: cooked in a furnace from raw Rice
  • Mulberry Juice: pressed from Mulberries at a crafting table
  • Crushed Maize and Crushed Grape: ground from their dried versions at a crafting table, used as crafting ingredients

Sake System:

If Dawn of Time is installed, the sake bottle becomes drinkable. Combine it with Fermented Rice at a crafting table to produce Sake. It has a stacking mechanic: each bottle consumed changes the effects. Early drinks slow you down. Keep going and something stronger surfaces, but the body keeps the score! Three variants can be crafted by combining a Sake bottle with a specific ingredient:

  • Grape Sake: leans into Speed
  • Maize Sake: leans into Strength
  • Mulberry Sake: leans into Regeneration Each variant follows the same stacking progression.
