You built a gantry. You built a beautiful gantry. Encased chain drive, the whole bit. And then you stood there and thought the thought every Create player eventually thinks: "what if I could just… take some of that for myself."
Now you can.
The Gantry Tap mounts to any face of a gantry shaft and siphons rotation straight off the network. No carriage. No movement. No contraption. Just a stationary little freeloader that meshes its pinions against your gantry and quietly draws SU like it pays rent.
Pairs beautifully with andesite alloy, existential dread, and a kinetic network you swore would be "simple this time."
Features
- Taps rotation from any face of a gantry shaft — top, bottom, sides, your choice, your consequences
- Outputs through a shaft socket on the opposite face, ready for the next 40 cogwheels
- Animated pinions and output shaft, synced to the gantry's actual speed (yes, it respects rotation direction, no your build won't explode)
- Correct orientation on all six faces (this took the dev several years off their lifespan)
- Doesn't move, doesn't haul, doesn't overstress your network any more than it already is — that's on you
