Furtherm-ore is a mod that adds new tools, items, and mobs to heighten the exploration in minecraft.
Furtherm-ore adds 2 new items:
Heart of the Goblin; has a 50% chance if dropping when the player kills a goblin. Is used to craft the Crystal of the Explorer.

Crystal of the Explorer; is used to craft the new tools.

2 new tools:
Locator; will check a 9×9 area around the player and emit a sound if it detects any diamond ore.

Metal Detector; will check the along the full y axis of the block selected and if it detects iron ore or gold ore it will emit a sound.

1 new mob:
Goblin; has a 1 in 8 chance of spawning when diamond ore is broken. Is hostile to the player. Has a 50% chance of dropping a the Heart of the Goblin.

Workbench; used to craft the Locator and Metal Detector.
