What's new

[1.20.1-0.0.3.0] - 2026-09-28

Added

  • True remote summon —— When a summoned companion's chunk is unloaded, Furkin adds a bounded temporary chunk ticket at the recorded dimension and position, re-resolves the same entity by its canonical UUID after the chunks load, and teleports it. Load failure, timeout, duplicate entities or state changes fail safely without rebuilding, copying the archive, or clearing the recorded location. Defaults are radius 1 (3x3), timeout 600 ticks, with per-player and global concurrency limits.
  • Duplicate entity diagnostics and recovery —— Added /furkin repair list <pet_id> and /furkin repair choose <pet_id> <keep_entity_uuid>; choose only previews unless confirm is supplied. The keeper first receives missing core data, equipment and pouch items, slot conflicts drop at its feet, and only then are duplicates removed. A recalled record that still resolves to a loaded canonical or same-identity entity no longer rebuilds a second entity.
  • Remote summon server config —— The world-scoped serverconfig/furkin-server.toml now exposes remoteSummonEnabled, remoteSummonTicketRadius, remoteSummonTimeoutTicks, remoteSummonMaxPendingPerPlayer, remoteSummonMaxPendingGlobal, and remoteSummonCooldownTicks. Disabling remoteSummonEnabled only rejects the unloaded-chunk path; loaded-entity teleport and legal rebuild remain available.
  • Configurable contract health gates —— Registered species now use Enemy > NeutralMob > other classification, with configurable percentage and absolute health gates. Either branch may pass: Enemy defaults to 30% or 4 health and NeutralMob to 50% or 8 health, letting a full-health vanilla wolf pass; other targets default to 100% with the absolute branch disabled. The six values live in the server furkin-server.toml. Both the naming request and confirmation revalidate the gate, so regenerating above it before confirmation is rejected.
  • Multipart entity interaction compatibility —— When an entity interaction targets a Forge PartEntity, Furkin resolves the public getParent() entity. Multipart creatures such as the Twilight Forest Hydra, whose main entity is not directly pickable, can now pass the health gate and complete contract, dismiss and resummon flows.

Fixed

  • Remote-summon tickets leaked on shutdown —— Cancelling pending summons and releasing their temporary chunk tickets now happens on ServerStoppingEvent (before the chunk scheduler shuts down) instead of ServerStoppedEvent. An in-flight summon resolves cleanly to CANCELLED on shutdown without leaving stale tickets or forced chunks behind. The duplicate-repair pouch-capacity calculation also tolerates a missing travel_pouch level.
