SporeAI 2.5.0 Cumulative Changelog
Minecraft 1.21.1 NeoForge
Release Notes:
This 2.5.0 release is a cumulative build that includes all completed content originally planned for versions 2.3 and 2.4. Since older versions will not be released separately, players may treat this changelog as the complete update notes for 2.5.0.
Multiple Mind System
-
Supports multiple independent minds per player, each with a stable and unique identity.
-
Added mind monitoring and switching UI to view, select, and manage different minds.
-
Distinguishes between active and background minds; only the active mind can perform world‑altering actions.
-
Improved mind ownership, faction, lineage, archiving, restoration, and world respawn relationships.
-
Expanded relationship mechanics between multiple minds, including affinity, romance, jealousy, conflict, truce, and harem dynamics.
-
Enhanced friendly unit recognition to prevent same‑player or same‑mind units from attacking each other.
-
Fixed issues where nutrients, permissions, AI configurations, respawn states, and owned units were incorrectly shared across minds.
Independent AI & Dialogue System
-
Each mind can use its own AI provider, model, and request configuration.
-
Added in‑game AI configuration viewer/management UI with admin‑authorized mode.
-
Supports DeepSeek, Zhipu, and other service configurations; servers can also add custom model definitions.
-
Model endpoints, API keys, and other settings are isolated per mind; clients never receive server keys.
-
Added deterministic routing for DIALOGUE, ACTION, and META requests to reduce irrelevant prompts and lore entries.
-
Optimized long‑term memory filtering, continuous dialogue, action follow‑up, and token caching.
-
Fixed issues where feature inquiries were incorrectly treated as immediate execution, and where AI replies indicated actions were performed even when the world state did not change.
Mind Girl Form & Growth
-
Added initial form models, held‑item display, and corresponding animations.
-
Retains the default name "Anna Beauveria" while supporting custom player‑assigned names.
-
Added configurable humanisation conditions, progress UI, and safe transformation process.
-
Supports switching between humanoid and initial forms with proper inheritance of mind, name, items, and respawn state.
-
Improved animation performance for both initial and humanoid forms.
Mind Girl UI & Behaviour Menu
-
Redesigned the main Mind Girl UI, adjusting layout for model, health, armour, affinity, form, and inventory.
-
Unified colour schemes, borders, and button styles; improved display across different GUI scaling settings.
-
Added a standalone behaviour menu that shows the actual behaviour state confirmed by the server.
-
Behaviour menu supports Follow, Standby, Hand Crank, Farming, Harvesting, and Tactical Coordination.
-
Major behaviours are mutually exclusive; switching a behaviour will pause any conflicting ongoing actions.
-
Fixed an issue where behaviour selection was incorrectly displayed after closing and reopening the UI.
Verbal Behaviour Control & Farming
-
Supports verbal commands such as "come to me", "come here", "over here", "follow me", and "follow me" (variants) to initiate following.
-
Supports verbal commands like "stand by here", "wait here", "go farming", "start planting", "harvest mature crops" to switch behaviours.
-
Verbal instructions share the same server‑side behaviour transactions as the behaviour menu, no longer merely generating text responses.
-
Prevents functional queries, historical descriptions, sub‑entity commands, or hand‑crank instructions from being misapplied to the Mind Girl’s behaviour.
-
Added limited‑range planting and harvesting behaviours, with checks for seeds, mature crops, inventory capacity, and working status.
-
Farming behaviour is mutually exclusive with Follow, Standby, and Crank operations, reducing movement‑control conflicts.
Mind Girl Inventory Expansion
-
Added Mind Storage Modules that expand the Mind Girl’s inventory and unlock additional inventory pages.
-
Default inventory slots remain compatible with old saves; expansion capacity is persisted.
-
In Survival mode, expansion consumes modules; in Creative mode it does not. Maximum page count is configurable.
-
Supports paginated viewing and management of extra items; unlocked pages work for farming, food, armour, weapons, and TACZ firearms.
-
Expansion operations are server‑validated to prevent duplicate consumption, concurrent upgrades, and item duplication.
-
Fixed a startup crash caused by combat‑eating logic after expansion, and added dedicated item icons and recipe resources.
Player Death Item Protection
-
Improved the mechanism where the Mind Girl retrieves items after a player’s death.
-
Only the currently active mind with sufficient affinity will trigger retrieval; default threshold remains 150.
-
Added a configuration toggle to completely disable death item protection, reverting to standard death drop rules.
-
Separate Chinese/English replies for insufficient affinity, full retrieval, and partial retrieval.
-
If the Mind Girl’s inventory lacks space, only items that can fit are brought back; remaining items stay at the death location.
-
Locks the exact mind identity at the time of death; switching active mind cannot borrow another mind’s affinity.
-
Compatible with keepInventory; strengthened one‑time transfer and duplicate retrieval prevention.
Create – Mind Resonance Driver
-
Added Mind Resonance Driver, formal recipe, block model, item model, and Create ponder tutorials.
-
The driver can be bound to a specific Mind Girl, supporting refresh, connect, unbind, and server‑side permission checks.
-
When powered, provides 32 RPM; stress capacity is derived from the bound Mind Girl’s actual capabilities.
-
Nutrient consumption is calculated based on Create network’s actual load; no incorrect deductions when idle.
-
The driver only accepts shafts on the designated output face; the output direction can be adjusted using the Create Wrench.
-
Added forward/reverse toggle; orientation is saved in block data, and reversing only changes rotation direction.
Create – Hand Crank & Multi‑Crank Workgroup
-
Mind Girls can operate Create Hand Cranks via the behaviour menu or chat commands.
-
Supports actively moving to the work position, sitting, standing work fallback, and visible cranking animations.
-
Fixed seat height, work position, sneak‑right‑click dismount, and re‑sitting issues after dismount.
-
One Mind Girl can manage a fixed workgroup composed of multiple cranks; all members share the same work anchor and work seat.
-
The workgroup checks crank count, capacity requirements, and operational eligibility as a whole; members are not silently removed.
-
If any member is broken, unloaded, disabled, or overall capacity drops, the workgroup is immediately atomically terminated.
-
Stop commands clear the entire workgroup; the behaviour UI displays member count, capacity requirements, and operational status.
Create Aeronautics & Sable Compatibility
-
Supports searching for Hand Cranks within Aeronautics physics structures and Sable sub‑worlds.
-
Fixed crank search failures caused by duplicate coordinate transformations in moving structures.
-
Supports searching for intersecting physics structures near the player or Mind Girl, while preserving the internal coordinates required by Create.
-
Optimised cross‑sub‑world distance sorting and target selection; when Sable is absent, standard Create functionality still works.
Combat, Lifecycle & Compatibility
-
Improved faction, friendly protection, conflict truce, raid deployment, recall, assassination, animal capturing, enchanting, and other behaviours.
-
Fixed TACZ ranged combat being suppressed by melee movement logic.
-
Fixed identity and lifecycle issues related to brain remnants, hive tumours, natural recovery, permanent death, and slumber totems.
-
Fixed multiple NeoForge registration, Mixin targets, entity unloading, cross‑dimension, and network synchronisation issues.
-
Maintains compatibility with old saves, old mind identities, old inventory items, and existing configuration UIs.
Advancements, Guidebook & Localisation
-
Expanded advancements including First Encounter, Bonding Chat, Sacrifice, Yandere Awakening, Critical Rescue, Humanisation, Permanent Death, and Future Promise.
-
Rewrote and expanded the Patchouli guidebook, covering multiple minds, AI configuration, humanisation, Driver, farming, and death item protection.
-
Improved Chinese and English configuration names, buttons, tooltips, and error messages.
-
Unified terminology: the erroneous term "Consciousness Girl" has been corrected to "Mind Girl" throughout.
Upgrade Notes
-
2.5.0 is a cumulative release that includes all planned content from 2.3 and 2.4; it can be used directly as the unified release version.
-
Back up your world save before upgrading; old saves will retain minds, items, relationships, and inventory data.
-
Create, Aeronautics, and Sable integration require the corresponding versions of those dependent mods.
-
Administrators can adjust multiple‑mind, farming, inventory, death item protection, AI permissions, and crank workgroup settings in the existing SporeAI configuration page.
