FuelTraits 1.2.0 — Heat & Food

Our first major FuelTraits content update. Furnaces have new possibilities, brewing stands have a second job, and players finally have opinions about dinner. Their digestive systems reserve the right to disagree.

Included in this release

- 139 new consumable items:  67 foods and 72 bottled products, including juices, jams, flavoured milk, honey drinks and milkshakes.
- 110 kitchen recipes , including further processing of prepared drinks. Coal and charcoal activate the brewing stand's kitchen mode; blaze powder allows a return to potion brewing.
- Fuel heat levels and properties that affect supported cooking recipes. Smoke food, prepare caramelized or chocolate apples, and glaze five meats with honey or berries. High heat can burn selected ingredients. Charcoal is a fuel choice, not a serving suggestion.
- Pumpkin slices, new soups, stews, salads, cookies and pies, plus milk bottling directly from adult cows.
- 61 food categories  and a personal profile containing three likes, two dislikes and one allergy. Profiles are saved separately for each player in each world and persist through death and reconnects.
- Ingredient-aware dishes, taste bonuses and penalties to nutritional values, and allergic reactions.
- Clearer kitchen and taste interfaces with search, ingredient hints, and hunger and saturation icons. Hold Shift for exact values and ingredient details.
- Culinary advancements for exploring foods, drinks and the limits of your own judgement.

Pre-publication review

Release preparation adds the new project icon, the Heat & Food title artwork, the full MIT license and contributor credits. Package metadata now targets the tested Minecraft 1.21.10 version and specifies a minimum Fabric API version. The publication review preserves the existing gameplay code; descriptions distinguish included features from future plans.

Requires Minecraft 1.21.10, Fabric Loader 0.19.3+, Fabric API 0.138.4+1.21.10 or a newer build for 1.21.10, and Java 21 . For multiplayer, install the mod on both the server and each player's client.
