Overview
FTB Chunks JourneyMap Bridge is a lightweight bridge mod that renders FTB Chunks claimed chunks as colored polygons on JourneyMap's fullscreen map — in real time.
Your claims are no longer invisible walls. On the map, they become a named, colored, identifiable home. It doesn't touch the claiming logic at all — it only makes it visible .
Features
Claim Visualization
- Green for your claims, blue for allies, red for everyone else; force-loaded chunks get a golden outline
- Adjacent chunks of the same team are merged into one polygon; outline thickness adapts to zoom level, so it never turns into a blurry mess when zoomed out
Claim Naming & Subtitle
- In the FTB "My Team" screen, use the map / quill buttons at the top to name your claim (16 chars) and add a subtitle (8 chars)
- Built-in palette editor: 16 vanilla colors + bold/italic. Select text and click a swatch to color it — multi-colored names are supported, and format codes don't count toward the length limit
- Claim names auto-scale with claim size, always centered, with shadow; disconnected enclaves are automatically labeled "Sub-claim"
- Raw`§` format codes are accepted for custom colors (obfuscated, underline and strikethrough codes are filtered out)
Enter / Leave Notifications
- Entering a claim shows a title (claim name + subtitle) and an action bar message with the owning team and owner
- Leaving a claim shows an action bar message; walking straight from one claim into another chains "left → entered" smoothly
- Entry/leave sound effects — visible and audible only to yourself
Division of Labor with JourneyMap
- Automatically disables FTB's built-in large map and waypoint system (including death waypoints and their keybinds) — all map & waypoint features belong to JourneyMap
- FTB's "Claim Chunks" management GUI is fully preserved and unaffected
