New this update:

- New guns

         - Bolt action rifle (slow-shooting, craftable, high damage steel weapon, with a scope. Can be upgraded into the Sniper Rifle, using an upgrade table and with carbon steel block, gun parts, and glass)

         - Submachine Gun (A tommy gun, with an extended mag and very fast fire rate. Also craftable)

         - Cannon (A large weapon that makes you slow, which shoots a giant cannonball that explodes (unless the cannonball is in water))

- New upgrades

         - ALL guns upgrades are now unique, like the revolvers were

                  - "Engraved" variants of the iron-teir weapons are their steel upgrade

                  - Duelist flintlock: two barrels for twice the fun

                  - Large blunderbuss: a large blunderbuss with a stock

                  - Ranger musket: a musket with a scope

                  - Powerful pepperbox: a pepperbox with a unique center barrel that fires a more damaging shot

         - Renamed and gave unique textures/names to variants of the steel-teir guns

                  - Extended doublebarrel instead of "doublebarrel (carbon steel)"

                  - Long Range Carbine instead of "lever action (carbon steel)"

- New mod mechanics

         - gunGriefing gamerule that you can use to turn off cannon explosions breaking blocks (they still deal damage)

         - /refreshgun command that you can use to update a gun that was created in a previous mod version (I suggest using this on all your guns to get up-to-date firerate and ammo values)

- Tweaks

         - Slightly improved hit particle

         - Fixed incorrect naming of pipes in gunsmith table

         - Made bullet model look wayyyy better

         - Revamped item stitching issues on some models

         - Made upgrade table work with steel blocks from other mods

         - Fixed offhand rules being ignored for some newer weapons

         - Made sulfur ore blocks more compatible with mods (hopefully OSV!)

         - Various other changes and cleanups here and there

 

Coming soon (I update frequently):

- New guns:

          - More high-teir weapons (pump action shotgun, battle rifle)

          - More rare, chest loot weapons (machine pistol, heavy pistol, classic pistol)

- Block of sulfur

- A few tweaks for gun behavior

          - Attachments

          - Screen recoil

          - Better weapon animations

          - Crouching, running, etc changes accuracy

          - better projectile hits

          - true semi auto guns

- New ammo types

          - High Velocity bullet (Higher velocity and damage)

         - PVP mechanics

 

Known bugs

- Bullet spawn position is not ideal

- directional audio for reloading doesn't follow player

- Sometimes switch speed doesn't work and gun fires prematurely

- Having another gun in offhand causes gun to go semi auto

- Carbon steel armor doesn't show projectile protection in creative inventory until you put it into main inventory
