Frozen Sentinels is an expansion of Cold Snap Horde that allows players to further animate the simple automatons known as snow golems.

The shorthand explanation

To begin you craft a lesser animation core and give it to a snow golem. This snow golem becomes empowered. Because you empowered the snow golem, it will also remain a loyal sentinel to you. Like a wolf, it will follow you, pelting nearby monsters (or anything you attack) with snowballs, while having a whopping 15 hearts of health. Should you get tired of the sentinel, you may tell them to hold position by right clicking, and to follow again by right clicking them once again.

You may desire your new sentinel to be more... useful. Thankfully, the lesser animation core allows you to attach a special stone inscribed with a sigil to modify your snowman's behavior.

At this time, only 6 of these sigils exist. In the future, more may be released. Additionally, all of the current sentinels are of the lesser tier. In the future, additional tiers of sentinels that build off of these lesser tiers will be added. Some sigils may require a higher tier sentinel before being applied as well.

You may also heal your sentinels. Handing them snow blocks heal them slightly, while handing them ice blocks will heal them dramatically, with more health added for colder ice variants.

With this all said, here is a list of the current sigils. If you've played Cold Snap Horde, these will be quite familiar.

Gunner Sigil - The sentinel is armed with a cheap firearm, and strafes around like a skeleton. May shoot someone's eye out.
Stabber Sigil - The sentinel wields a knife and aggressively melees targets.
Snowballer Sigil - The sentinel sticks to its roots, and throws snowballs at enemies. Snowballs with rocks inside them.
Gifter Sigil - The sentinel will be armed with an explosive present, dealing notable damage to nearby entities, itself, and freezing over nearby terrain.
Zapper Sigil - The sentinel becomes a mechanical monstrosity that uses melee attacks to stick lightning summoning transponders to its foes before running away.
Brawler Sigil - Armed with boxing equipment, this sentinel may not do the most damage, but it still packs a hefty punch!
