From The Horizon introduces a creeping parasitic outbreak that evolves alongside your world.
At first, the infection is subtle — strange creatures skitter through forests and caves, livestock behaves oddly, and unfamiliar growths begin to appear. Over time, the parasite adapts. What once hid among normal mobs begins to reveal itself, spreading faster, hunting smarter, and overwhelming the ecosystem.
The world progresses through parasite phases, each unlocking new enemies, behaviors, and threats. Infected creatures may disguise themselves, lurk until injured, or suddenly turn hostile when the infection takes control. Structures such as meteorites and nests mark the parasite’s expansion, drawing dangerous entities to the surface.
