2. Technology Tree & Layout
- Four technologies moved to the redstone page:
activation, carts, explosives, transportation. - Customizable frames: a technology JSON can now pick
task/goal/challenge; the original challenge frame is unchanged. - Challenge sound: completing a challenge-framed research plays a sound.
- Explicit hiding: whether a technology is hidden is now decided by
display.hiddenin JSON — technologies with criteria no longer hide themselves automatically, since criteria only decide whether a technology can be researched. The 7 technologies that used to hide behind their criteria got"hidden": true; The Carrot Protocol and Clockwork Malice stay visible.
3. UI & UX
- Research book layout rewritten: every time it opens, it lays out the technologies that are currently visible, so hidden ones no longer take up space and the parent-centering, connections and edge clamping all line up (previously there were half-cell offsets and broken connection lines).
- Hover handling relaxed: everything that is actually drawn can be hovered for its tooltip.
- JEI hints completed: technologies with criteria now show exactly what still triggers them ("Also requires:" / "either one of").
- Command tab completion improved.
- The "Omniscient" advancement description corrected to "research all 46 technologies".
4. Fixes
- The stonecutter showed craftable outputs for technologies that were not unlocked yet.
- The client was not notified when a research was revoked, so recipe lock states did not update dynamically.
- Riding-based criteria fired twice.
- Fixed the Construction page idea ingredients; removed the stone-plank entry that wrongly showed up under the match puzzle's S key; the unlock list ordering was adjusted.
5. Internal & Data
- Added
VillagerTradesHandler(wandering trader trades). TechnologyManager: trigger listener refresh and de-duplication, re-attached after/reload.RecipeHideHelper/CraftingListener/EventHandler: stonecutter recipe filtering.- Added the riding trigger;
TriggerFTGUnow cleans up its listeners. - Added
data/minecraft/loot_table/entities/pillager.json. - 34 new language keys across both language files (names and descriptions for the 10 new technologies, criteria texts, JEI hints).
