Frit Randomize Everything
Random Drops • Surprise Enchantments • Speedrun Tools
Break two stone blocks and you might get a carrot from one and a diamond sword from the other. Every action rolls a fresh result, so the same block, recipe, or trade can give you something different each time.
Multiplayer: Install FRE on the server for the randomizer. Client installation is optional and adds the hotbar clocks and Sharpness damage tooltip.
What gets randomized?
- Block drops — Break blocks in Survival to get random items. Player-placed blocks and blocks destroyed by creepers count too.
- Crafting and processing — Crafting grids, automatic crafters, furnaces, stonecutters, and smithing tables give random results. Shift-crafting rolls separately for each recipe execution.
- Villager trades — Each completed trade gives a random item at the displayed price.
- Mob loot — Get one random item from a mob's loot roll, plus one extra roll per level of Looting on the weapon that lands the killing blow.
Surprise enchantments
Breaking a block has a 5% chance to enchant a random item you already carry. Inventory, hotbar, armor, and offhand slots all count. The enchantment roll is skipped if those slots are empty.
A second roll determines the level. By default, 50% of successful rolls land at levels 1–5, and 50% land at levels 6–255. Lower levels are more common within the upper range.
