Fresh Animations - Make it compatible

Compatibility patches for Fresh Animations on NeoForge 1.21.1. They make other mods' player attachments follow the player model that Fresh Animations: Player Extension animates through Entity Model Features. So far there is one, for the giant backpack of Overpacked. The mod contains no Fresh Animations assets: install the resource packs themselves.

Overpacked

• With the Player Extension the torso leans into a sprint, crouches, crawls and breathes. Overpacked's giant backpack kept the vanilla pose and hung off the back.
• The backpack now takes the body pose the player was actually drawn with, so it stays on the torso.
• Its own walk bob and opening animation still play on top, and the pocket modules follow as well.

Without Fresh Animations

• With no animation pack the patch re-applies the pose vanilla just computed, so nothing changes.
• Without Overpacked the patch stays dormant and the mod does nothing.
• On start the log lists the patch as ACTIVE or dormant, and says so when Entity Model Features is not installed.

Settings

• overpacked.followAnimatedBody in config/micfa-client.toml, on by default. Turn it off only to compare.
• The same switch is under Mods > Make it Compatible: Fresh Animations > Config, named "Backpack follows animated body".

Requirements

Minecraft 1.21.1, Java 21, NeoForge 21.1. Client only: servers do not need it, and a client with it can join a server without it. The backpack patch needs Overpacked 2.0 or newer (built and tested against 2.1). The animations come from Entity Model Features with the resource packs Fresh Animations and Fresh Animations: Player Extension, tested with 1.10.4 and 1.1.

NeoForge 1.21.1, client side. Free to use in modpacks.
