FRD Visual

FRD Visual is a client presentation companion for FRD Minecraft servers and modpacks, built for Minecraft 1.20.1, Forge 47.4.10 and Java 17.

It displays the FRD information panel and five cosmetic aura styles, with settings to reduce or hide other players' effects. Your own aura is hidden in first-person view. It does not change player attributes, damage, movement or progression.

An FRD server supplies visual state through the optional frdvisual:state network channel. The server validates cosmetic ownership: installing this client mod does not unlock rewards. On a server without that companion integration, FRD-specific visuals will not be available.

Shaders are optional. Appearance varies with shader packs, and improving aura intensity without shaders remains planned. The current file is the 0.3.0-dev development build. It has been tested locally with Forge 47.4.10, Embeddium 0.3.31 and Oculus 1.8.0; this is not a claim of compatibility with every shader pack.
