What's new

[0.1.0] - 2026-10-17

The first release: a storage and autocrafting network where the chip is the tier. Requires Chip Foundry 0.3.0 or newer.

Network and storage

  • Logistics Core: takes up to 4 logic chips (the CPU: parallel jobs and plan steps) and 4 memory chips (the RAM: how much is moved per tick, 64 MB to 16 GB per chip and tick, 64 MB/tick without RAM). Chip grade gives a bonus. Costs power: base load, plus per device and drive, plus per 64 MB moved. A second core in one network stays off.
  • Data Bus Cable connects the network, one network per dimension. Drive Bay with 8 slots; Storage Drives of 1 to 4 chips (1 / 8 / 64 / 512 / 4000 GB per chip, the core itself holds 1 GB). Copied drives are detected and not used (red lamp).
  • Storage is counted in bytes: a stack item takes ceil(64 / stack size) MB (dirt 1 MB, ender pearl 4 MB, sword 64 MB), fluids 1 MB per started 1000 mB. The data map foundrylogistics:size can override this per item.
  • Logistics Terminal: see and search everything stored (by name, @mod and #tag), take out and insert items and fluids (stacks, half, single, Shift into the inventory, buckets and other containers). Terminals can be mounted flat on a wall, floor or ceiling.
  • Logistics Port: import from or export to a chest or tank (filter with 9 slots, redstone modes, optional target amount), or add the inventory to the network as storage with a priority.
  • Logistics Interface: shows the whole network storage to pipes and hoppers. Every access costs bandwidth by size.
  • Private or public access per core, with trusted players. Placing a core keeps its owner and settings on the item.

Autocrafting

  • Patterns (remember a recipe from the 3x3 grid) and Assemblers craft inside the network; several assemblers share the work.
  • Crafting Terminal with a 3x3 crafting grid that refills from the network, buttons to remember or show a pattern and to clear the grid, and JEI's "+" button (missing but craftable ingredients are ordered and added when ready).
  • Jobs: quantity window with a preview (in storage / missing / will be crafted), multi-step planning with reservations, detection of loops and missing parts. Jobs run in parallel up to the logic chips, survive saving and can be cancelled at any time without losing anything. Keep items in stock: set a target per item and the core starts jobs by itself.
  • Machine Link: recognises the machine in front of it (data map foundrylogistics:machines, all machines from Chip Foundry and Foundry Machines), lets you release recipes, feeds ingredients, fluids and catalysts, collects the results and returns waste to the network.
  • Crafting Provider: a plate on another mod's machine or chest. Recipes are stored in the device (up to 9 inputs, 3 outputs, items and fluids), set in its menu or from JEI. It pushes all inputs at once, only when everything fits.

Other

  • Jade (optional): status and reason of network devices, bandwidth used against the core's.
  • JEI (optional) for the "+" button.
  • Config with all values, English and German.
  • 76 game tests.
