ForoLite is an optimization mod for Minecraft 1.7.10. It is meant for lower-end machines that struggle to run Minecraft at at least 120fps. Performance is prioritized over quality.
The mod changes how Minecraft renders things, cuts particles, weather, culls entities and tile entities, dropped items, xp orbs lod, render-detail reductions, has smart animation and optional chunk/lighting controls to reduce FPS drops, and has a very large diagnostic and recovery engine to evaluate lag sources.
