Forgotten Flames 0.3.0

Forgotten Places Update

Version 0.3.0 adds atmospheric torch generation to abandoned and ancient structures.

Forgotten places can now contain a mix of lit, extinguished, and dormant smoldering torches. These locations feel like they once had life and light, but now only the remains of the past are left behind.

Added

  • Forgotten Places world generation support
  • Lit, extinguished, and dormant smoldering torches in selected structures
  • Dormant Embers as atmospheric environmental torches
  • Support for abandoned-style lighting in ancient and ruined locations

Affected Structures

  • Abandoned mineshafts
  • Dungeons
  • Strongholds
  • Desert pyramids
  • Jungle temples
  • Trail ruins
  • Ruined portals
  • Ancient cities

Villages are not affected and keep their normal vanilla lighting.

Notes

  • Mostly affects newly generated chunks and structures
  • Existing generated structures may not update automatically
  • Dormant smoldering torches are intended for atmosphere and storytelling
  • The existing extinguish, smolder, and relight mechanics remain unchanged
