ForgeWorks Gemstone Charms for Forge now lives on the main ForgeWorks Gemstone Charms page, together with the NeoForge builds. Please download updates from there.
Forgeworks Charms adds ten items on top of Forgeworks. Craft a Crying Gemstone from Crying Alloy ingots, amethyst shards and an Eye of Ender, then combine it with four more Crying Alloy ingots and a themed ingredient to forge a charm stone. Charms are passive: they work from anywhere in your inventory, and you can hold one and right‑click to switch it off and on. Inactive stones lose their shimmer and stop instantly.
Night Vision Stone (golden carrots), Waterbreathing Stone (pufferfish), Swift Stone (sugar, Speed I), Feather Stone (phantom membranes, Slow Falling), Wardstone (iron blocks, Resistance I), and Hunter's Stone (spider eyes) which outlines hostile mobs within 30 blocks — visible only to you.
Two charms need a Greater Crying Gemstone (four gemstones and four Crying Alloy ingots around a Nether Star): the Hearthstone (golden apples, Regeneration I) and the Soul Stone (totems of undying), which keeps your full inventory and XP when you die. It has three charges, cracks once per death, and a damaged stone plus a Crying Gemstone in a crafting grid restores a charge. All charms are fire‑proof and show in the recipe book and JEI.
Tear Extractor
Pull enchantments off your gear and keep them. Craft the Tear Extractor from two Crying Alloy ingots, a Crying Gemstone and two sticks, then put it in any crafting grid with an enchanted item and a plain book. Out comes an Enchanted Book carrying every enchantment the item had — curses included, so it doubles as curse removal — while the item stays in the grid, stripped clean, and the Extractor loses one durability. No XP cost, no anvil. 64 uses, repairable with Crying Alloy ingots.
Requires Forgeworks 1.0.0 or newer. Forge, Minecraft 26.3. Install on server and client.
