Forged in Redstone
Forged in Redstone adds a new Tier similar to Iron but with lower durability and lower stats. Despite that, it makes the user use their tools way faster and get a Speed bost with the armor's Bonus Set Effect.
The mod is made for Forge 1.20.1 and it's currently in English and Spanish (Spain)

In terms of content, the mod adds (ATM):
New Items and a Block
-Dense Block of Redstone (9 Redstone Ingots) (Can be used in redstone circuits)
-Redstone Ingot (Smelt Redstone Crystal)
-Redstone Crystal (Made from 4 Redstone)

Tools
-Redstone Sword
-Redstone Pickaxe
-Redstone Axe
-Redstone Shovel
-Redstone Hoe
They are weaker than Iron and has decreased durability. Despite those downsides, Redstone tools offer high attack speeds and offer decent harvesting speeds for tools. It's the balance between Iron and Gold.
Armor
A full armor set made from redstone. Stats lower to iron and decreased durability. What makes this armor special is it's Bonus Set.
Bonus Set: Speed Boost Effect
Grants the player the Speed I effect ONLY if the full armor is worn.
"Now you can run from the Warden.. Maybe."
Advancements
Forged in Redstone gives Redstone more importance (Despite already having a lot in Vanilla, lol). Two Advacements were added as well:
-Acquire Redstone Ingots
-Acquire the entire Redstone Armor Set

-This mod is for Forge 1.20.1 and at the moment I have no plans to port it to Fabric or future versions. Maybe if the mod has a decent number of downloads.

- Will you add Armor Trims?
At the moment, no, as I'm not sure how to add them.

Currently the mod is in English (USA) and Spanish (Spain) If suggested I can implement more localizations.
