Foresty

Adds Bees, Trees, Machines in 1.16.5

Foresty for Minecraft

Foresty is a maintained fork of the classic Forestry mod by SirSengir and the ForestryMC team, ported and rebuilt for Minecraft 1.16.5 Forge with stability and audit fixes. It keeps the original focus on agriculture, arboriculture, and automation. Here's what each of its notable features covers:

Automatic Farms

Foresty has a Multifarm system, a multiblock structure that automates crop growing and harvesting. It handles everything from wheat and trees to peat and other resources, powered by energy.

Bee Breeding

One of Foresty's best features. It adds dozens of bee species that can be cross-bred to produce new species with unique traits and products. Bees live in apiaries and produce resources like honeycomb, wax, and rare materials. Genetic traits like speed, lifespan, and territory can be passed down through breeding.

Tree Breeding

Similar to bee breeding, Foresty adds arboriculture, the ability to cross-breed different tree species to create hybrid trees with unique wood types, fruits, and properties

Butterflies

A decorative but charming system where butterflies spawn in the world, can be caught, and are part of the broader genetics ecosystem.

Intelligent Backpacks

Foresty's backpacks automatically collect specific categories of items (e.g., a "Miner's Backpack" that picks up ores), making inventory management much smoother during long sessions.

Mail
Foresty adds a postal system with mailboxes, letters, and stamps, allowing players on multiplayer servers to send items to each other.

Energy Production

Foresty adds Bio Generators and Biogas Engines that produce energy (Minecraft Joules / RF) from organic materials like mulch, biomass, and peat.
