What's new

Everything the 26.2 version does, rebuilt for 1.20.1. Not a compatibility layer — the fog,
the dark and the light underground are all written again against how this version draws
the world.

THE WORLD
- A bounded map that dissolves into fog, in three sizes. Past the edge the ground is bare:
no trees, no ore, no caves, and nothing alive.
- Cross the edge and the world is simply gone. Step back and it is there again.
- The dark is real dark. Carry torches.
- The map you start with is drawn before you have been anywhere, with the edge marked on it.
- Finite ore. The world holds only so much, and then that is all there was.
- Longer nights, slower sprint, slower smelting, thinner meat, no Peaceful, no brightness slider.
- Guaranteed village at the start. A walled Nether with its own bastion. Something at the edge
that the storm keeps coming back to.
- Rarely, and only where you are not looking, something is there. And deeper down, something else.

TWO THINGS DIFFER FROM THE 26.2 VERSION, AND YOU SHOULD KNOW WHICH
- The old textures are not here. 1.20.1 does not ship the built-in pack the newer version
switches on, and bundling nine hundred textures to fake it is not a trade worth making.
Everything else is the same.
- The crossing asks for a full set of gold rather than copper — 1.20.1 has no copper armour
at all. Same joke, same trip back to the start of the tech tree. Change it in the config
if you want it harder.

TWO THINGS THIS VERSION HAS FIRST
- No hay bales in villages.
- The map draws the edge as a red ring.

REMOVED
- Herobrine.
