What's new

ForceBlend and ForceBlend Once are now one mod.

  • A menu inside Minecraft asks before preparing a world: Prepare world (backup is on), Open without changes, or Cancel.
  • A full world backup before any change, on by default. With it off, the backup option still comes first.
  • Each world is prepared once. Set run-mode=every-open in config/forceblend.properties to scan on every open.
  • Dedicated servers prepare the world before it loads and always back up first.
  • Fabric: Minecraft 1.18 to 1.21.11 and 26.1 to 26.3. NeoForge: 26.3, as a separate file.

Coming from ForceBlend Once: replace the old jar. Worlds it already prepared are skipped.

Known issue: on Linux and macOS a failed write can leave .forceblend-rollback-*.tmp files in the region folder. The world is restored fine and the files are safe to delete. Fixed in 1.2.1.
