Description
Fool’s Errands is a procedural “go do something” mod for big modpacks, designed for when you finish testing your own content and suddenly don’t know what to do.
It scans the current pack—registries, recipes, tags, advancements, dimensions, structures, mobs, etc.—and generates one concrete task at a time, while trying not to give progression-inappropriate nonsense like “find netherite” when you barely have iron.
Core modes:
-
Speedrun Vanilla
-
MawGut
-
Antarchy
-
Everything
-
individual detected mods
-
Surprise Me / Send Me Somewhere Stupid
Possible errands include finding a block, acquiring/crafting an item, killing or meeting a mob, visiting a biome/structure/dimension, using/eating/equipping something, or collecting a quantity.
Progression safety comes from recipe dependency analysis, advancements, known dimensions, player inventory/progression, and optional handcrafted integration files for mods like MawGut and Antarchy. Unknown mod content can be categorized as Verified / Likely / Wild, with easy rerolls for impossible targets.
The intended feel is:
Minecraft has 11,000 things in it. Go do one.
